The concept of Collect Art was conceived in late December 2019, with the aim of providing support to both Georgian and international artists during the challenging times of the pandemic. However, as we delved deeper into the project and embraced the current artistic landscape, we realized the potential for Collect Art to evolve and take on various forms of creative endeavors.
On January 1, 2020, Collect Art made its debut in the online realm, marking the beginning of our journey toward achieving our goals. The online platform proved to be a powerful tool for swiftly amplifying the voices of artists on an international scale. As autumn arrived that same year, we expanded our reach by venturing into the realm of magazine publication and hosting captivating online exhibitions. Our efforts garnered immense interest and support, resulting in the participation of more than 1000 artists from 96 countries worldwide. We have proudly curated and released 16 issues of seasonal magazines, as well as special editions that celebrated the diversity and creativity of the art world.
Over the course of three years, we have had the privilege of assisting numerous accomplished artists, including the likes of Nata Buachidze, Salome Kobulashvili, Tamriko Melikishvili, George Chaushba, and many others. Their exceptional works have graced esteemed events such as the Paris Art Week, the Venice Biennale, and the National Museum of Madrid, leaving an indelible mark on the global art scene.
Collect Art remains committed to its purpose: to construct a bridge between Georgian and international cultural events and artists. We strive to cultivate a platform that encourages individuals to view art from fresh and alternative perspectives. Our mission is to make the world of art more accessible to all those with an appreciation for culture and creativity.
As we embark on this creative journey, we invite you to join us in celebrating the boundless possibilities of art and its profound impact on our lives. Together, let us redefine the boundaries of artistic expression and foster a vibrant and inclusive artistic community.
